Agatha is a minor character from the survival-horror series The Walking Dead. Appearing in Season 11, she was a member of the Wardens, a group of apocalypse survivors that Maggie Rhee joined some time after leaving the Hilltop. After her settlement was destroyed by the Reapers, Cole joined Maggie when she returned to Alexandria.
History[]
Nothing is known about Agatha's life before the zombie apocalypse. What is known about her is that several years into the outbreak, she had joined a survivors' colony known as Meridian. However, Meridian was attacked and conquered by a group of raiders calling themselves the Reapers. Agatha and a few others escaped and would follow Maggie Rhee as she returned to her former community of Alexandria, arriving at the climax of the Coalition's conflict with the Whisperers.
By the end of the Whisperer War, Hilltop had been all but burned to the ground and Alexandria had suffered severe damage after a horde of walkers had moved through the town. With the residents suffering from a severe food shortage, Maggie decided to lead a group back to Meridian in order to retrieve much-needed supplies. Agatha was among those that joined the excursion.
After the group managed to make their way out of a subway system, they approached the road leading to Meridian only to be attacked by the Reapers. Agatha and her boyfriend Duncan were seperated from the others, managing to escape together, though Duncan suffered multiple wounds. By dawn, Maggie, Negan and Alden found Duncan and Agatha near an abandoned mall. Unfortunately, neither of them had the materials needed to patch up Duncan's wounds and he had lost too much blood. Before he died, Duncan told Maggie to promise him that she would get Agatha home safely. After Duncan succumbed to blood loss, Maggie stabbed him through the brain to ensure that he wouldn't reanimate. Sadly, Maggie would be unable to keep her promise.
Death[]
As Maggie, Negan, Alden and Agatha continued on through the woods, they were attacked by a herd of walkers. As Agatha fought off the undead, one of them grabbed her arm and bit her. Maggie tried to save Agatha, but more walkers surrounded her and she yelled at the others to run for their lives. In the end, Maggie, Alden and Negan were forced to leave Agatha to the walkers, who proceeded to devour her.
