Another - Aki Matsui's death
Aki Matsui was a minor character that attended Yomiyama North Middle School in Another. Aki rarely contributed to the plot of the series, instead mainly appearing as a background character. She died near the end of the series, around the age of 15.

While Aki was traversing the burning inn with Kyouko, Tomohiko murdered Kyouko by stabbing her in front of Aki. A panicked Aki fleed, with Tomohiko in pursuit. She ran into Kouichi, begging for help. These turned out to be her last words after Tomohiko threw a knife into her neck.
