Andy Kewzer was a minor character from the horror film, The Final Destination. He was a mechanic who worked at the Grandstate Customs auto-shop in McKinley, Pennsylvania. He was one of the survivors of the McKinley Speedway disaster of 2009.
History[]
On January 6th 2009, Andy and his girlfriend Nadia visited the McKinley Speedway to watch the Megatech 300 racing event. He asked Hunt Wynorski if Nadia could use his binoculars to watch the race, and Hunt tried to explain that they were not binoculars at all, but Nadia took them and drank from them. Nadia then told him she couldn't see the race because of a couple sitting in front of them, and Andy yelled out to the couple, prompting them to sit.
A moment later, Nick O'Bannon experienced a premonition of a terrible accident in which many people would die, including Andy. Nick panicked and left the stadium, his friends following after him. Shortly after the group were outside, the accident occurred. While Andy survived, his girlfriend Nadia would not; a flaming tyre was launched over the stadium wall and Andy watched it hit Nadia and obliterate her head.
The following day, Andy attended a memorial service at the Speedway which was held for the victims, and broke into tears while looking to a photo of Nadia. Days after the service, Nick, Lori and George visited Andy at Grandstate Customs to tell him that Death is still after the survivors and he was possibly next. Andy asked if they were serious, before a mechanic told him that visitors weren't allowed in the garage and to take them outside. Outside, Andy told the the trio that he was trying to put his life back together after Nadia's death. George told him about how years ago he killed his wife and daughter while driving under the influence and had been trying to do the same ever since.
Death[]
While Andy was talking with Nick, Lori and George outside, Death was at work inside the repair shop. A man spit inside a can and left it on top of a metal crate. The can then fell over and the spit spilled onto a winch, causing it to malfunction, which released the rope and sent a van straight towards Andy, almost crushing him against a metal fence. However, due to the weight of the van pulling against the rope from the winch, the winch was pulled out of its socket and sent spiraling through the air, hitting the top of a CO2 tank. As Andy turned around, the tank hit him in the chest and propelled him into the fence, slicing him into pieces.
