Ari Peck was a supporting character in the straight-to-DVD film Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation. He was portrayed by J.P. Manoux.
History[]
Peck was a Tech Sergeant in the Federation Mobile Infantry. During the Battle of Zulu Alpha, his entire unit was slaughtered by Bugs, leaving him the sole survivor. He was rescued by General Shepherd and brought to the outpost Hotel Delta 1-8-5 where he helped Bravo Six fortify their position and conducted repairs on the damaged systems. Little did Bravo Six know that Peck had actually been infected by a Control Bug along with troopers Griff and Soda who were attempting to sabotage the outpost and infect everyone inside.
Death[]
For all intents and purposes, Peck had perished when his mind was overwhelmed by the Control Bug inhabiting his body. As the parasite matured, it consumed Peck's body from within, causing him to deteriorate into a corpse-like state. When Peck's body had rotted to the point of immobility, Griff carried him to the bunk room shared by Privates Brick and Otter. Griff ripped open Peck's skull and the fully grown Control Bug emerged with several offspring. Griff then threw the Bugs into the room and shut the door, leaving them to infect Brick and Otter.
