Barry Jackson (played by Willie Adams) was a minor character in the slasher horror film Friday the 13th. He was a counselor at Camp Crystal Lake in the late 1950's along with his girlfriend Claudette. In 1957, he and Claudette were having sex when they should have been watching young Jason Voorhees, son of the camp's chef Pamela Voorhees. Due to the counselors' negligence, Jason drowned in the lake and the camp was closed for some time, though neither Barry or Claudette were legally held accountable for Jason's death.

In 1958, Camp Crystal Lake had been reopened and Barry and Claudette resumed their previous positions. One night, he and Claudette snuck off to the barn to have sex, but were silently followed by Pamela who blamed them for her son's death. Just before Barry and Claudette could get started, Pamela caught up to them. As Barry attempted to convince her that he and Claudette weren't doing anything wrong, Pamela stabbed him in the stomach. The scene was shot from Pamela's point of view, so she did not appear on-screen and her involvement would not be known until later in the film.
