Garfield "Gar" Logan - also known as Beast Boy - is a superhero from DC Comics. His precise origins have been re-written several times across DC's various media, but the end result is that he develops the metahuman power of shape-shifting, allowing him to transform into any animal he wishes to at will. The side effect of his transformation is that his skin and hair have permanently turned green.
Beast Boy does not operate as a solo hero; he is always seen as a member of a team of heroes, most notably the Doom Patrol and the Teen Titans.
DC Animated Movie Universe[]
Beast Boy appeared prominently in the animated films Justice League vs. Teen Titans and Teen Titans: The Judas Contract, in which he is voiced by Brandon Soo Hoo. He makes a very minor appearance in Justice League Dark: Apokolips War as he is seen already dead in a brief shot following the slaughter of the Teen Titans by Darkseid's invasion force.
