Bec Lawise was a minor character from the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. He was a Siniteen politician who served as Congress Leader for the Confederacy of Independent Systems alongside its Head of State, Count Dooku. Unlike Dooku, who was only manipulating the Separatists on behalf of his master Darth Sidious, Lawise genuinely believed in diplomacy and wanted what was best for the Confederacy's citizens. He was voiced by Corey Burton.

In the sixth season episode "Crisis at the Heart", Dooku, seeking to deplete Republic funds, secretly coerced the replacement of the InterGalactic Banking Clan's leadership with Baron Rush Clovis, a Separatist ally. Lawise and Republic Senator Padmé Amidala were sent to Scipio to oversee Clovis's inauguration. The event took a turn when Dooku forced Clovis to increase interest rates on the Republic, but not the Confederacy. Lawise opposed Dooku's underhanded tactics and was further outraged when the Head of State attempted to have Senator Amidala arrested. Amidala was able to wrest a blaster rifle from one of the battle droids in the room and aimed at Dooku. However, the Sith Lord used telekinesis to force Amidala to aim at Lawise and shoot him dead.
