Ben Sandborn is the principal of Ogden Marsh High School in the 2010 remake of The Crazies. He is portrayed by Larry Cedar.
Ben was present at the softball game where Rory Hamill was shot. After the whole debacle when everyone else is gone, Ben is still sat there on the bench. Little does anyone know that the principal is infected with the Trixie virus.
Later on, when Ogden Marsh is sealed off by the military, Ben - who has now gone completely crazy - walks into the treatment centre established at the school, covered in blood and dragging a pitchfork along with him. He kills two patients who are bound to their beds and is about to kill Judy when David enters and shoots Ben twice through the back.
