Big Dan Teague is an antagonist in the movie O Brother, Where Art Thou?
History[]
Big Dan is first seen when Ulysses and Delmer enter a restaurant. He introduces himself as a bible salesman. After a bit of talking, he offers them a job at his company, which they accept. Sometime later, he accepts an invite to meet them during lunch. After he finishes, he reveals he lied about being a bible salesman and soon attacks them with a branch before robbing them. Soon he finds a shoebox and finds a toad in it and kills it.
Death[]
Later on, it's revealed he is a member of the KKK. The three heroes soon infiltrated the meeting and decided to rescue Tommy. However, Big Dan recognized them and soon exposes them. After that they get chased before tossing a flagpole at him. Despite this, he catches it before it impales him. Soon Ulysses cuts a cable and the last thing the con man sees is the flaming cross landing on him.
