Broca (portrayed by Mel Johnson Jr.) was a Cardassian officer who appeared toward the end of Deep Space Nine's seventh season. After Damar had rebelled against the Dominion, Broca was appointed as the new leader of the Cardassian Union. Of course, Broca had no real power and was merely a puppet of the Founders, but he was loyal and believed in the ideals of the Dominion.

When the Cardassian fleet turned against the Dominion during the Federation Alliance's invasion of Cardassia, the Female Founder decided that the Cardassians - all of them - had outlived their usefulness. Broca tried to assure the Founder that he was loyal, but the Founder wouldn't hear of it and had her guards drag Broca outside where they stabbed him with their bayonets.
