Cale Pike (portrayed by Ari McKay Wilford) is a minor antagonist from Season 2 of Gotham. He and his brothers Joe and Evan were professional arsonists who were hired by the Penguin to burn down several Wayne Enterprises buildings around Gotham City.
History[]
The Pike family first appeared in the episode "Scarification". After being blackmailed by Theo Galavan, the Penguin sends Butch Gilzean to hire the Pikes to carry out several firebombings around town. The Pikes take the job, but find themselves shorthanded after Evan is killed by the GCPD, and so the remaining brothers turn to their enslaved stepsister Bridgit to take Evan's place.
When the Pikes attempted to burn down the Gotham City Book Depository, the police showed up and Joe and Cale fled in their van, leaving Bridgit behind. Bridgit wold manage to escape, though not before killing a rookie cop that tried to apprehend her.
In the following episode, "By Fire", Bridgit attempted to leave Gotham with the help of Selina Kyle. However, Joe and Cale came for her and took her back home where they chained her up and beat her, threatening to kill her if she didn't join in the "family business".
Death[]
In "By Fire", Bridgit finally snapped after enduring her brothers' abuse for so long. Having developed a sense of self-empowerment by donning her new fireproof suit and flamethrower, as well as a newfound taste for arson, Bridgit turned on Joe and Cale, setting them on fire with her flamethrower.
