Movie Morgue Wiki

Lance Hunt - more commonly known by the superhero monniker Captain Amazing - is the main antagonistic character of Mystery Men. He is the celebrated superhero of Champion City, but in reality was a greedy, smug, and callous jerk only acting like a hero for the attention and sponsorships to increase his profits. When he starts losing sponsorships due to defeating all the supervillains, he purposefully orchestrates the release of his sadistic archenemy Casanova Frankenstein in an attempt to provoke a massive battle to generate publicity and retain sponsorships

History[]

Captain Amazing is first seen jumping through a window at a nursing home when the Red Eyes are attacking. Soon he singlehandedly takes down the gang and is praised by his publicist afterwards. When he encounters Blue Raja, Mr. Furious and the Shoveler, he assumes they would like his autograph and shoves them away. However, they tell him that they are also superheroes. Upon hearing this, he tells them to keep up the good work. Afterwards he salutes them.

When meeting the press, he ignores a young fan and pushes him out of the way. Soon after, he pushes an elderly man in a wheelchair away. When being interviewed, he boasts about how skilled he is. When asked about his Pepsi endorsement being canceled, he refuses to answer.

During the limousine ride, he starts to rant and complain about how he is trying his best to be a great spokesperson. When his publicist tries to focus on the positive, he says he believes it was pathetic. When he is reminded that there are no more villains for him, he makes suggestions until he remembers Casanova Frankenstein. When the publicist tells him those are a thing of the past, he gets an idea.

Soon he arrives at the asylum in his secret identity, a wealthy lawyer named Lance Hunt. When the parole board refuses to free Casanova, He soon reads from a shopping list and passes it off as a letter from his hero persona. After doing this, he is able to convince the parole board to grant the supervillain freedom.

After Casanova blows up the insane asylum, he flies in using his jetpack. While the villain is celebrating, he enters and tells him he knew Casanova couldn't change. Casanova says he knew he would know that. When he asks him to remove some gadgets, he soon sees one in the trash. He is soon told it is chloroform and he finds himself sprayed and passes out.

Upon regaining consciousness, he sees himself strapped to a chair. When Casanova Frankenstein reveals he is planning on killing him, he soon begs him to make him his assistant. However he is left in the dark.

Death[]

Later on, the Mystery Men come to rescue him. Soon he begins to tell them about the machine he is attached to. When they are about to free him, he gives them a confusing instruction. When the heroes ask him, loses his temper and begins to insult them. Soon the machine activates and he is distorted as his brain is fried and he is charred.
