"Carl Greenway" was an identity assumed by a Triple-8 Series Terminator in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. This cyborg infiltrator appeared in the Season 2 episode "Automatic For The People" and was portrayed by Paul Schulze.
History[]
As part of its ongoing war against the human race, the supercomputer Skynet sent numerous Terminators back in time on various missions that would impair the Resistance in the future. One of these Terminators would take on the identity of Carl Greenway, a nuclear technician who was impeding the rapid activation of the Serrano Point nuclear plant due to safety concerns. Serrano Point would become a key Resistance stronghold in the future, so the Greenway Terminator's mission was to sabotage the plant and send it into meltdown. This would irradiate half of California for decades to come and make it impossible for the Resistance to claim in the war.
On November 16th 2008, the Greenway Terminator would kill his template and take his place. As the reactivation of the reactor was underway, Sarah Connor - who was undercover in the plant at the time - noticed something off about Greenway. Having gotten to know Greenway the day before, she noticed his behaviour was abnormal and that he didn't have any surgical scar on his right bicep. (The real Greenway was a cancer survivor who had the lymph nodes in his arm removed.) Realising that it was a Terminator, Sarah alerted Cameron.
Destruction[]
Cameron confronted the Greenway Terminator in the lower levels of the plant. She managed to knock him into a large power transformer and the high voltage incinerated the Terminator's flesh and overloaded its systems, frying its CPU chip. After the battle, Cameron dismantled the Greenway endoskeleton and took the plant security videos, sealing them inside a radioactive waste drum.
