Carlos Cruz (portrayed by Carlos Gonzalez-Vio) is a minor character in Punisher: War Zone. Originally a member of a criminal gang called the Latin Kings, he had befriended the Punisher's ally Microchip and wanted to get out of the criminal life. To prove his sincerity, he offered the Punisher information on Maginty, an Irish gangster who was affiliated with Billy Russoti.
Castle came to trust Carlos eventually, entrusting him with the lives of Angela and Grace Donatelli whom Castle had saved from Jigsaw. Carlos promised to protect them with his life, but later Jigsaw sent is psychotic brother Jim to raid the Punisher's hideout. Jim gravely wounded Carlos with an axe and left him to die slowly from blood loss. The Punisher later returned to find Carlos near death and Carlos apologises profusely for failing to protect Angela and Grace. As an act of pity and respect, Castle pulls a gun and shoots Carlos in the head, ending his suffering.
