Colette Ferro (portrayed by Colette Hiller) was a minor character in Aliens. She served as a Corporal in the Colonial Marine Corps, functioning as a dropship pilot in the 2nd Battalion. In 2179, she and her co-pilot Private Spunkmeyer piloted the Bug Stomper to LV-426 where their unit was to investigate the loss of contact from the Hadley's Hope colony.

Not long after the Marines' arrival at Hadley's Hope, the mission turned into an unmitigated disaster as half the unit was killed by Xenomorphs. Some of the team got out of the atmospheric processing station and called for the Bug Stomper to evacuate them. Spunkmeyer, outside the ship at the time, picked up the transmission and headed back inside to tell Ferro to take off. As he climbed the boarding ramp, he noticed a slimy substance which turned out to be Xenomorph drool. He never made it to the cockpit as he was ambushed by a Xenomorph drone and killed.
As the dropship took off, the drone made its way into the cockpit. Hearing the door open, Ferro turned around expecting Spunkmeyer, only to be faced with the ferocious alien. She attempted to draw her sidearm, but the creature attacked and savaged her. While the full details weren't shown on-screen, blood could be seen pouring down the cockpit canopy. With no one at the controls, the Bug Stomper crashed and exploded, leaving the survivors without a means of escape.
