Cynthia Dietrich (portrayed by Cynthia Dale Scott) is a minor character from the sci-fi film Aliens. She is a Colonial Marines Hospital Corpsman with the rank of Corporal and a member of the 2nd Battalion unit sent to investigate the Xenomorph presence on LV-426 in 2179.

During the operation at the Hadley's Hope colony, Bravo Team entered the atmospheric processing station which the Xenomorphs had converted into a hive. As they investigated, the team found a single live colonist embedded in a wall of organic resin. Dietrich came over to provide medical attention, but the survivor begged the Marines to kill her. The woman then violently convulsed as the Xenomorph larva inside her ate its way through her torso. Dietrich and Apone set their Incinerators on the Chestburster and killed it, but the creature's screeches awoke the entire hive. Xenomorph drones began emerging from the organic resin strewn throughout the complex. One grabbed Corporal Dietrich from behind and she screamed. Frost turned to try and help her, but in her panic, Dietrich discharged her Incinerator and set Frost aflame, causing him to stagger around and fall over a railing to his death. Dietrich, meanwhile, was pulled out of sight and presumably became an incubator for a larva herself. Since she is never seen again, it can be safely assumed she either died from a Chestburster tearing its way out of her, or was killed when the processing station exploded towards the end of the film.
