Dennis Lapman was a main character in the horror film Final Destination 5. He was the head of the sales department at Presage Paper and one of the survivors of the North Bay Bridge collapse.
History[]
Dennis was on his way to a corporate retreat with his employees when Sam Lawton had a premonition that the bridge they were crossing would collapse, killing everyone on it. When Sam panicked, Dennis left the bus to go check on him and saw the bridge collapse moments later, just as Sam predicted.
After the accident, Dennis delivered a farewell speech at the memorial service for the victims, although it was clearly not from the heart as he forgot that who Isaac Palmer was, not realizing that Isaac was still alive and at the service.
Following the memorial service, Agent Jim Block kept in contact with Dennis to monitor any strange behaviour from his remaining employees. Peter Friedkin later tried to warn Dennis that Death was still after them, but Dennis didn't take this seriously. After Peter left his office, Dennis called Agent Block and told him about Peter's behaviour.

After Nathan Sears accidentally killed Roy Carson on the Presage factory floor, Peter, Sam, and Molly arrive to see what happened. After Peter suggested that Nathan must have taken Roy's lifespan, Sam tried to figure out who was next on Death's list. Just as Dennis arrived to question Nathan about the incident, the vibrations from a machine caused a wrench to fall into a rapidly spinning belt sander. The wrench was launched in Dennis' direction, impaling him through the face and killing him instantly.
