Desaad is a villainous character from DC Comics. He is a grotesque and psychotic New God and faithful lackey of the evil Darkseid. Cruel and sadistic beyond measure, he serves as Apokolip's top scientist and torturer, finding new and creative ways to inflict pain and suffering on Darkseid's enemies.
