Dobbs was a minor character from the animated film Dead Space: Downfall. He was a member of the USG Ishimura's security force under Alissa Vincent. He was voiced by Jeff Bennett.
A rookie among the PCIS security detail, Dobbs was an eager and charismatic man who often joked around with his co-workers, particularly Shen. When the Necromorph infestation reached the Ishimura and violence broke out aboard the ship, he and the rest of the team investigated the morgue.
Dobbs found the mutated corpse of Hans Leggio which sprang to life as he was examining it. The Leggio Slasher bit Dobbs on the hand and then tore open his neck with one of its blades, leaving Dobbs to bleed to death.
It is unknown if Dobbs' corpse was later turned into a Necromorph, but it seems likely.
