Dolcetto (also known as Dorochet) is a minor character from both series of Fullmetal Alchemist. A former soldier in the Amestrian State Military, he was discharged from service after being severely wounded during the Ishval Civil War. However, the State wasn't yet done with him and Dolcetto was taken to Laboratory 5 for experimentation. There, he was alchemically spliced with dog genes, becoming a human chimera. He would join up with the homunculus Greed after escaping from Lab 5.

Deaths[]
In the 2003 series episode "Theory of Avarice", Dolcetto and Roa accompany Greed and the captive Alphonse Elric to an isolated barn in the woods after fleeing from the Devil's Nest. However, they are then confronted by the homunculi Lust and Gluttony. Greed and Al escape while Roa and Dolcetto keep the homunculi at bay. They are both last seen charging at their opponents and are killed off-screen. Gluttony is shown to have blood around his mouth after the fight, implying that he ate the two chimerae. Whether they were killed before being eaten or not is unknown.
In the Brotherhood episode "Those Who Lurk Underground", Dolcetto is killed by Fuhrer Bradley who has revealed himself as the homunculus Wrath. His Ultimate Eye allows him to foresee his enemies' actions before they make them and he swiftly cuts Dolcetto in half.
