Doomsday is an unstoppable alien monstrosity originating from the DC Comics universe. Genetically engineered by an alien scientist, the creature that humans would one day refer to as "Doomsday" was meant to be the ultimate life-form, but proved to be completely uncontrollable and unkillable. Possessing not only absurd levels of strength, the monster is also invulnerable to virtually everything and comes back to life each time it has been killed, impervious to whatever killed it previously. This creature is infamous for being the only thing that has actually killed the Kryptonian hero Superman.
