Dr. Angel (portrayed by Geraldo Rivera) is a minor character from Sharknado 5: Global Swarming. He is an eccentric inventor and scientist who was appointed by NATO to solve the global sharknado crisis.
When a sharknado disrupts the NATO conference in London, Fin Shepard, April and Nova Clarke join Dr. Angel aboard his blimp, the Hindenburg 3000 XP. Angel supposedly had a device aboard the blimp that could disrupt and dissipate the sharknado, but his vault turned out to be empty. As the Hindenburg enters the vortex, the hull is breached and Dr. Angel is sucked outside where he is torn apart by sharks.
Time Reversal[]
In The Last Sharknado: It's About Time, Fin travels back in time and prevents the sharknado phenomenon from ever occurring. This cancels out every death in the series, including Dr. Angel's.
