Eric Grueller (played by Sasha Jenson) is a minor character from the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer film. He was a student at Hemery High School who aspired to become a basketball player.
One night after school, Grueller was stalked by the vampire Amilyn, who bit and turned him. Several nights later, he took part in a basketball game against another school, using his new vampiric abilities to win the game. Everybody present seemed completely oblivious to how Grueller had changed, except for Buffy Summers, who attacked him in the middle of the gymnasium in front of everyone. Grueller fled from the school and Buffy followed him back to a parade float storage yard.
In the storage yard, Buffy confronted Grueller, but he had backup from his fellow vampires. While Buffy was busy fighting Grueller's wingmen, Pike arrived on the scene and attacked Grueller, killing him via a stake through the heart.
