Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen is a supporting character in the film adaptation of Dune. He is the favoured nephew of Baron Vladimir Harkonnen and next in line to become Baron of House Harkonnen. Charismatic and intelligent, Feyd is also a bloodthirsty sadist, like most of the Harkonnen family. He is portrayed by British musician Sting.

Feyd's only notable appearance in the film is during the final scene when Paul Atreides/Muad'Dib and the Fremen enter the Imperial Residence. Sighting Feyd among the Padishah Court and eager to avenge his father by destroying all of the Harkonnens, Paul challenges Feyd to a duel in accordance to the forms of kanly. The two draw blades and fight, with Feyd taking a much more vicious and underhanded approach to the fight, biting Paul's hand when he gets close and drawing a poisoned blade concealed within his fighting outfit. In spite of Feyd's devious methods, Paul emerges victorious after managing to floor Feyd and drive his dagger into the Harkonnen's chest.
