This article lists the various background character deaths that occur in the Marvel Studios film Avengers: Endgame.
- The film begins where Avengers: Infinity War left off. Having acquired all six Infinity Stones, Thanos uses their power to wipe out half of all life in the universe. In the film's opening scene, Hawkeye and his family are enjoying a barbecue out on their homestead. Hawkeye's entire family are claimed by the Snap, leaving Hawkeye alone, wondering what has happened to them.
- War Machine reports to Black Widow that a criminal cartel in Mexico have been slaughtered by Hawkeye.
- Hawkeye, now operating under the codename Ronin, kills several gangsters in Tokyo. He does this believing it to be unfair that such evil men were allowed to survive the Snap while innocents like his family were killed.
- Ronin duels Akihiko, the leader of the Yakuza group, slashing him several times with his sword before stabbing him in the stomach.
- When the Avengers begin their time heist, Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk and Ant-Man travel back to New York in 2012 during the Chitauri invasion. After arriving, they witness the Hulk of that time kill a Chitauri soldier by crushing it underneath a wrecked car.
- Three Chitauri skiffs fly over the Sanctum Sanctorum on Bleecker Street. They are each shot down by the Ancient One.
- In 2014, the Gamora and Nebula of that time are battling Korbinites on a space station. Nebula stabs one Korbinite through its helmet's faceplate while Gamora throws another into an energy pillar, incinerating it.
- After obtaining the Infinity Stones and bringing them back to their own time, the Avengers are ready to undo Thanos' Snap. Hulk dons the new Nano Gauntlet that Stark built to harness the Stones and snaps his fingers, restoring all the lives that Thanos had erased five years before.
- After Avengers HQ is bombed by Sanctuary II, Thanos sends down Outriders to kill the survivors and retrieve the Infinity Stones. Hawkeye flees from the Outriders and ascends through a narrow shaft on a grappling wire, slicing up three Outriders climbing after him with his sword.
- The Battle for Earth explodes as the Avengers and all of their allies clash with Thanos' army.
- Thor strikes the ground with Stormbreaker and a wave of lightning sweeps away a group of Chitauri soldiers.
- While at giant size, Ant-Man punches a Chitauri Leviathan out of the air.
- Black Panther and Okoye cut down several Outriders.
- Drax jumps onto the back of a Chitauri Gorilla and stabs it repeatedly.
- Iron Man and Rescue - Pepper Potts - shoot down several Necrocraft.
- Captain America and Thor pummel several Sakaarans and Chitauri using each other's weapons before swapping back, with Cap now wielding Mjolnir which Thor had retrieved from 2013.
- Rocket Raccoon and Winter Soldier are seen gunning down a group of Sakaarans.
- Iron Man blasts a trio of Outriders with his repulsors before getting knocked down by Cull Obsidian.
- Star-Lord flies through the air and shoots several Sakaarans with his quad blasters.
- A Sakaaran knocks Star-Lord to the ground and is about to deliver a killing blow when it is shot in the back by the alternate version of Gamora.
- A Chitauri Gorilla is seen chasing and throwing a group of Asgardians before it gets struck down and stabbed in the chest by Falcon.
- Cap hammers an Outrider in the face and throws it at Hulk, who beats it to the ground.
- Doctor Strange summons a series of magical tendrils that pull several Chitauri into a dimensional void.
- Thanos stabs one of Wong's mystics with his double-edged sword.
- Corvus Glaive impales an Asgardian with his polearm.
- Hawkeye runs across the battlefield with the Nano Gauntlet, cutting down a pair of Sakaarans along the way.
- Black Panther releases a wave of kinetic energy from his suit that takes down a line of Chitauri.
- After taking the Nano Gauntlet, Black Panther runs and beats down five Sakaarans and a Chitauri Gorilla.
- Spider-Man swings in and takes the Nano Gauntlet from Black Panther, landing on an Outrider and crushing it.
- A horde of Outriders charge at Spider-Man, but Parker activates his suit's Instant-Kill function and the mechanical arms of the suit emerge from the back, stabbing all the Outriders to death.
- Thanos commands the Sanctuary II to rain fire upon the battlefield. The ship fires all of its cannons, killing not only several fighters on the heroes' side, but many of his own troops too.
- Captain Marvel arrives after descending through the atmosphere and flying like a comet through the Sanctuary II, causing heavy damage to the ship which then crashes.
- Scarlet Witch fires a blast of energy that sends a line of Chitauri flying in all directions.
- Gamora slices through the midsection of a Chitauri Gorilla.
- Riding upon her flying horse, Valkyrie slices through the side of a Chitauri Leviathan.
- Captain Marvel destroys several Chitauri tanks by charging straight through them.
- At the climax of the battle, Iron Man robs Thanos of the Infinity Stones at the last minute, connecting them to his suit's gauntlet. Then, with a snap of his fingers, he unleashes the power of the Stones, destroying Thanos and what remains of his army in the same way Thanos had previously wiped out half of the universe. Thanos' forces all disintegrate into dust and disappear on the wind.
