Boq'ta (portrayed by Andy Milder) was a Bolian Starfleet engineer who served under Chief O'Brien in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. In the episode "Empok Nor", he and three other engineers took part in a salvage mission to the abandoned Cardassian space station Empok Nor. The young, nervous Boq'ta was the third member of the group to be killed. While lying on the deck tinkering with a conduit, a Cardassian soldier that had been left in stasis on the station approached him, stepping on his neck and crushing his larynx.
