Janelle Voight was the foster mother of John Connor in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. She was portrayed by Jenette Goldstein.
Little is known about Janelle other than that she found caring for John rather stressful, and John didn't like her at all. She was killed off-screen by the T-1000 when it invaded her home in order to reacquire John and terminate him. After killing Janelle, the T-1000 impersonated her and killed Janelle's husband Todd.
In a deleted scene, the T-1000 investigates the Voights' house and the real Janelle's legs can be seen through the half-open bathroom door, implying she may have been in the shower when she was terminated.
