Wendy Lin (portrayed by Amy Acker) was a supporting character in The Cabin in the Woods. She was a technician who worked in the Facility's chem department and was in charge of distributing the various chemicals used by the Facility to drug the unwitting participants of the Ritual. During the film, she explains the Ritual to Daniel Truman, who is new to the Facility. She also reports to Hadley and Sitterson that the Organization's Stockholm facility has failed to complete its ritual.
When it is discovered that Marty Mikalski is still alive following a zombie attack, Lin is blamed because her department was supposed to have laced his marijuana supply with chemicals to ensure his total intoxication. However, the drugs didn't work because Marty's near-constant marijuana abuse had rendered him immune.

When Dana Polk activated the System Purge inside the Facility, she released all of the caged monsters from confinement which went on to slaughter all of the staff. Lin was trapped inside the control room along with Sitterson and Hadley. A kraken tore through the ceiling and one of its tentacles dropped down, grabbing Lin and pulling her out of sight.
