  • Lt. Havoc and several MPs discover nine dead bodies in the area where Scar was last seen. The bodies are so badly decomposed that they can't be identified.

  • Führer Bradley explains his past to Colonel Mustang.
    • A young Bradley (known back then as "Prospective Führer No. 12") is shown dueling with a fellow prospective Führer candidate. He manages to stab his opponent through the shoulder, after which he shows concern. One of the scientists overseeing the duel assures Bradley that his opponent's only purpose was to make him stronger and help him achieve his own goal. Based on this dialogue, it seems likely that the scientists disposed of the wounded candidate rather than helped him.
    • A prospective candidate is killed during an alchemic experiment, with a Red Stone being produced from his blood.

    • In Lab 5, Dr. Marcoh oversees a transmutation experiment where several captive Ishvalans are killed in order to make a Philosopher's Stone.
  • At the end of the episode, Envy delivers a meal to Dr. Marcoh's cell. Inside, Marcoh's clothing is crumpled on the floor with blood spattered on the wall. The word 'Vengeance' is written on the wall in blood. While it is meant to appear as though Scar killed Marcoh, he actually freed the doctor and used one of the two chimerae chained up in the cell to make fake human remains.

Episode 31. The 520 Cens Promise[]

    • Years later, the transmutation circle is complete and the King is ready to become immortal. During the transmutation, however, it is revealed that only Hohenheim and the Homunculus are within the centre of the circle. As such, the King, the other members of his court and the entire population of Xerxes are all sacrificed. Their souls are absorbed into Hohenheim and the Homunculus, the end result being Hohenheim becoming immortal and the Homunculus gaining a body that resembles Hohenheim's own.

Episode 43. Bite of the Ant[]

  • Aided by Kimblee, the forces of Drachma attack Fort Briggs. The ensuing battle is decidedly one-sided as the Drachman army is completely wiped out within minutes by artillery fire. This, of course, was Kimblee's plan as he needed to create a crest of blood for Father's nation-wide transmutation circle.

  • The scientist who was overseeing the mannequin soldiers draws a gun and wastes his ammo trying to kill the invincible creatures, leaving himself without a bullet to give himself a swift death as the creatures attack and devour him next.
  • Another unnamed general who was wounded and taken hostage by General Armstrong is killed when he is crushed beneath Sloth's hand.
  • In the tunnels beneath Central, Mei Chang and Envy (who had been reduced to a tiny parasite in a jar several episodes back) are attacked by a horde of mannequin soldiers. Mei drops Envy's jar and a mannequin catches it in its mouth, breaking it open and swallowing Envy. Envy hijacks the mannequin and starts attacking the others, absorbing their biomass into himself in order to restore his body.

Episode 52. Combined Strength[]

  • At least seven Briggs soldiers are cut down as Wrath charges into Central Command.
  • After failing to take down Wrath, the Briggs tank at the main gate reverses into the command centre. Wrath pursues, jumping onto the tank and thrusting his sword through the viewport, killing the driver. The tank captain emerges from the turret hatch in order to throw a grenade, but Wrath decapitates him and throws the grenade back inside the tank, destroying it and killing the gunner.
  • With the arrival of Bradley, the Central loyalists get their second wind and resume fighting. One of Mustang's soldiers is seen being shot from behind a barricade.
  • Three Briggs troops open fire on Wrath, but his Ultimate Eye allows him to determine the bullets' path and dodge them easily whilst he closes in on his attackers and cuts them down.
  • Four Central soldiers try to ascend a stairwell, but are mowed down by machine gun turrets stationed further up.

Episode 58. Sacrifices[]

  • Falman and his team gun down another four Central soldiers in the stairway.
  • Greed-Ling confronts the remaining Central soldiers in the elevator well. As he mauls the soldiers to death, one carrying a rocket launcher lets off a shot as he dies. The rocket blasts the elevator loose and it collapses down the ramp all the way to the bottom, killing the remaining soldiers.

Episode 61. He Who Would Swallow God[]

  • Having long anticipated Father's plan, Hohenheim had planned a counter-attack to disrupt it. Over the course of decades, he had shed many of the souls that resided within his body into the ground at various points, forming a transmutation circle of their own to reverse Father's consumption of "God". When the shadow of the moon completely covers Amestris, the souls that Hohenheim released are triggered and reverse Father's transmutation, freeing the 50 million souls he consumed and returning them to their bodies.
  • Even after his transmutation is reversed, Father is not beaten yet. He ascends to the surface and emerges in the courtyard of Central Command. Through will alone, he absorbs the souls of four Briggs soldiers, combining them to form a tiny Philosopher's Stone.

Episode 62. A Fierce Counterattack[]

  • As a demonstration of his new godlike power, Father resurrects several of the Xerxesians whose souls were a part of his being. As the alchemists recoil in horror as the Xerxesians wander about, grateful to have returned to the world of the living, Edward finally makes his way to the surface and, seeing him, Father grins and releases another god-energy blast which annihilates the freshly resurrected Xerxesians and bathes a large portion of the Central Command compound in blinding light.
