Gareb was a minor supporting character in the fourth season of Star Trek: Enterprise. He was a member of the Aenar, a subspecies of the Andorian race. In 2153, he was abducted by the Romulans who forced him to use his psionic abilities to operate an unmanned robotic ship via telepresence as part of a scheme to destabilize the Alpha Quadrant. He was portrayed by Scott Rinker.

Death[]

In the episode "The Aenar", Gareb was forced to operate two Romulan drone ships, pitting them against an allied Human, Andorian, Vulcan and Tellarite fleet. However, Enterprise had made contact with the Aenar and enlisted the help of Jhamel, Gareb's sister, who used a telepresence device of the crew's own design to reach out to Gareb. Until then, the Romulans had convinced Gareb that he was the last of the Aenar. After Jhamel told him the truth, he felt guilty that he was forced to destroy so many ships, and to kill so many people. Jhamel appealed to him to end the violence. He had one drone ship attack the other, destroying both Romulan starships. The Romulan Valdore executed Gareb by shooting him, but he was telepathically comforted by his sister at the end.
