Gazeem (voiced by Charlie Adler) is a minor character from Disney's Aladdin and is the only character to die in the film. He is a thief and murderer who works for Jafar early in the film, hired to find half of the Golden Scarab that leads Jafar to the Cave of Wonders. When the cave appears in the middle of the desert, Gazeem is ordered by Jafar to go into the cave to retrieve the Genie's lamp. The Cave of Wonders tells Gazeem that only the "Diamond in the Rough" will be allowed to enter. Gazeem is not the chosen one and is not permitted to enter, but foolishly attempts to do so anyway at Jafar's beckoning. As Gazeem enters the Cave's mouth, it closes on him, crushing him beneath a mountain of sand.
