Harold "Hal" Jordan is a superhero from DC Comics. A former pilot in the U.S. Air Force, he became a member of the Green Lantern Corps after the death of Abin Sur, whose Power Ring bonded with him. After meeting with the Guardians of the Universe on Oa, he was formally incorporated into the Green Lantern Corps and assigned to protect Space Sector 2814, where his homeworld of Earth was situated. As well as protecting the many worlds within his sector as a Green Lantern, Hal also became a member of the Justice League on Earth, helping his fellow heroes to defend their world against many recurring threats.
DC Animated Movie Universe[]
Hal Jordan appears in Justice League: War, Justice League: Throne of Atlantis, The Death of Superman and Justice League Dark: Apokolips War. He is voiced by Justin Kirk in War and by Nathan Fillion in the other films except for Apokolips War, in which he does not speak.
During his minor appearance in Apokolips War, Hal joins the rest of the Justice League in a preemptive strike against Apokolips. However, Darkseid is ready for them, having spied on the heroes' plans through Cyborg's Apokoliptian tech. An army of Paradooms attack the League as soon as they arrive and several members are killed. Hal is one of them, being overwhelmed and eaten alive by the creatures.
