Hunt Wynorski was a supporting character in the 2009 horror film, The Final Destination. He was a college student who lived in the town of McKinley, Pennsylvania. He was abrasive, obnoxious and had a morbid fascination with car crashes, which was why he attended the Megatech 300 race at McKinley Speedway with his friends in 2009.
History[]
On January 6th 2009, Hunt and his girlfriend Janet Cunningham visited the McKinley Speedway with their friends Nick O'Bannon and Lori Milligan. While there, he carried a set of binoculars as well as a drinking flask made to look like binoculars. After Andy Kewzer asked if his girlfriend Nadia could borrow the binoculars, he ended up handing over his flask which Nadia then drank from.
As the friends sat and watched the race, Nick experienced a premonition of a deadly accident and panicked. Hunt, Lori and Janet followed him out along with several others, but a moment later the accident occurred, resulting in the deaths of 52 people.
The following day, Hunt and his friends met up in a cafe and discussed what happened. Hunt credited his survival to a lucky coin he always keeps on his person, though the others aren't convinced that luck had anything to do with it, thinking there was another reason that they were spared. When Nick and Lori decideed to attend the memorial service being held for the victims, Hunt refused to go.
Days later, following the deaths of Carter Daniels and Samantha Lane, Nick and Lori become convinced that Death itself is actively hunting the speedway survivors who should have died that day, presenting evidence to Hunt and Janet of similar occurences from years back. Hunt wasn't convinced and left Nick's, telling him that if he's destined to die, he's going to get laid first.
Death[]
After Andy Kewzer's death, Nick received a vision of water and tried to warn Hunt, who was at a country club pool. While at the pool, Hunt answered a phone call from Nick, but a boy squirted him with a water gun and damaged his phone. Hunt got mad and took the water gun, which he placed on the pool's control box. The gun fell and hit the lever controlling the pool drain, and the drain started sucking up the water. While relaxing by the pool, someone in the adjacent field hit a golf ball, which hit Hunt and caused him to drop his lucky coin, which rolled into the pool and was sucked down the drain.
Hunt dove into the pool to find his coin, but was sucked in by the drain as well. Unable to move, Hunt lay underwater screaming for help as the draining pressure increased, until the drain finally sucked his organs out through his anus. His organs were then shot out from a poolside pump, along with his lucky coin.
