Movie Morgue Wiki

J.J. was a minor character from the CG-animated film Resident Evil: Death Island. He is already deceased during the events of the film and only appears in flashbacks of Dylan Blake's experience in Raccoon City.

History[]

In September 1998, the American midwestern town of Raccoon City was devastated when the T-Virus, a mutagenic virus secretly engineered by the Umbrella Corporation, was leaked into the town's water supply, infecting the majority of the population. The Umbrella Security Service was sent into Raccoon to secure corporate assets and destroy any evidence that could potentially incriminate the company. Dylan Blake and J.J. were assigned to one such unit, but their superiors hadn't divulged the full situation and the soldiers were unaware that the citizens of Raccoon had been transformed into the living dead.

At some point during the operation, Dylan, J.J. and the rest of their unit took refuge inside a meat processing plant. With the exception of J.J. and Dylan, all of the unit members had been wounded by zombies and had become infected. When Dylan contacted Umbrella Headquarters over the radio, he was ordered to quarantine the wounded. Later, he and J.J. were ordered to eliminate any and all infected, which included the wounded members of their team. Dylan objected to this, but soon his injured comrades succumbed to the T-Virus and turned into zombies themselves. As the infected soldiers bashed against the window between the meat locker and the adjacent storage room, J.J. readied his sub-machine gun.

Death[]

J.J. opened fire on his infected comrades and put them down, but was bitten himself during the struggle. Meanwhile, Dylan was curled up on the floor screaming as his zombified friends were slaughtered. After the zombies were eliminated, Dylan contacted Umbrella HQ once more, requesting medevac. His request was denied and he was ordered to eliminate all remaining infected in the vicinity, but now the only remaining infected was J.J.. A struggle ensued between Dylan and J.J. that resulted in J.J. shooting Dylan in the leg, which left him with severe nerve damage in his leg for the remainder of his life. Having exhausted his ammunition, all J.J. could do was plead for mercy. However, Dylan - ridden with guilt for what he was about to do - was determined to carry out his last order. He picked up a metal box and brought it down upon J.J.'s head, bashing his brains in.
