Jackie Tyler (portrayed by Camille Corduri) was the mother of Rose Tyler in Doctor Who. She was living an ordinary life in London in the 21st century when it was disrupted by an invasion by the living-plastic aliens known as the Nestene, which was thwarted by The Ninth Doctor. Since then, Rose went travelling with the Doctor aboard the TARDIS and Jackie has since had to endure the difficulty of being left behind. Following the battle between the Cybermen and the Daleks at Canary Wharf, Jackie now lives on a parallel version of Earth with an alternate version of her late husband Peter along with Rose. She never dies in the series but is officially listed as dead on her world following the Battle of Canary Wharf.
Parallel version[]
Another version of Jackie lived in the parallel universe that the Tenth Doctor visited during the episodes "Rise of the Cybermen" and "Age of Steel". In this world, she and her husband Peter lived a life of wealth and luxury thanks to Peter's successful business deals (which all failed miserably back in the prime universe). Though they remained married and lived an ideal lifestyle, the Tylers never had children, though Jackie did have a dog which she named "Rose".
Death[]
When John Lumic attempted to convert London's population into Cybermen, he transmitted a mind-control signal to every EarPod in the city. Jackie also wore a pair of EarPods and was affected by the signal, marching into the Cybus factory in Battersea and undergoing conversion. Peter and Rose infiltrated the factory to try and find her, but they were approached by a Cyberman which revealed itself to have once been Jackie. Pete was horrified and outraged, but expressing this blew his cover and he and Rose were captured and taken to Cyber Control where they faced the upgraded Lumic. When the Doctor shut off the Cybermen's emotional inhibitors, all of the Cybermen, including Jackie, went insane and began to malfunction and self-destruct.
