- The submarine USS California is attacked by unknown hostiles (later identified as Atlanteans). The chief engineer tries to contact the bridge, but he is killed by an invader.
- The captain of the California sends out an SOS just before the submarine is sunk with all hands lost.
- An unknown number of Atlanteans are killed when Black Manta attacks Atlantis in a vessel disguised as an American submarine.
- Ten Atlantean soldiers working for Black Manta attack Arthur Curry's home, but are all killed by Mera, who uses her hydrokinetic powers to create destructive blades of water to carve up her opponents.
- When Arthur and Mera are attacked by the Trench, Mera forms a long blade of water and slashes three Trenchers in half with one swing.
- Mera uses a pair of blades to cut up two more Trenchers.
- The Justice League arrive to assist Arthur against the Trench. Batman and Cyborg launch an aerial attack, possibly killing several Trenchers.
- As the Atlantean army begins its assault on Metropolis, King Orm fires a magical blast from his trident that destroys a line of tanks and kills an unknown number of US soldiers.
- An Atlantean hover-tank is destroyed by a shell from a US Army tank.
- Mera kills two of Orm's soldiers by throwing blades through their necks.
- Wonder Woman cuts down two Atlantean soldiers after Superman disables their tank.
