Kabal is a character from the Mortal Kombat video game franchise. He is a masked warrior who wields dual hookswords in battle and is capable of moving with superhuman speed. In the video game series, Kabal has fought both on the side of good and evil: he was originally introduced as a member of the Black Dragon crime syndicate who later betrayed the group to the Special Forces, though other times he has been portrayed as an anarchist seeking to remake the Black Dragon in his own image or has been in the service of otherworldly villains.
