Kimberly Corman is the main protagonist of the horror film Final Destination 2. A college student from White Plains, New York, she decided to take a trip to Daytona Beach with some friends in May 2000. On the day they were to make the trip, Kimberly experienced a horrifying premonition of a pileup on the highway that would result in many deaths, including her own.
History[]
On May 13th 2000, Kimberly was driving her SUV towards Route 23 with her friends Shaina, Frankie and Daino. As they reached the on-ramp, however, Kimberly experienced a vision of a horrific pileup on the highway in which she, her friends and numerous other people were killed. She stopped her SUV at the on-ramp, trying to warn a nearby state trooper Thomas Burke of the impending disaster. After asking Kimberly to step out of her car, the disaster she had foreseen unfolded before their eyes. While Burke, Kimberly and the motorists behind her would all survive, Kimberly's friends who were still in her car would all die when a truck came speeding out of nowhere and smashed right into it.
Following the disaster, Kimberly and other survivors were interrogated by Officer Burke at the police station. There, Kimberly explained the similarities between her vision and Alex Browning's, expressing her fear that Death will still be after the survivors. The survivors disregarded her theory, until survivor Evan Lewis died in his apartment later that day. Kimberly and Thomas consulted the help of Clear Rivers, the only remaining survivor of Flight 180 to save the other survivors of the pile-up. Clear led Kimberly and Thomas to mortician William Bludworth, who claimed that only new life could defeat Death. Kimberly concluded that if pregnant survivor Isabella Hudson has her baby, it would break Death's list and they would all be safe.
The other survivors reunited at Thomas's apartment to look after one another until Isabella had her baby. After Nora Carpenter's death, the others left to find Isabella. Along the way their van's tyre suffered a blow-out and they crashed onto a nearby farm. After Eugene Dix was rushed to the hospital, Kat Jennings and Rory Peters each met their demise. Kimberly, Thomas, and Clear rushed to the hospital, and Kimberly had another vision that Dr. Kalarjian would strangle Isabella. After Thomas immobilized Dr. Kalarjian, they saw Isabella give birth and believed that they had cheated Death. However, after Kimberly had another vision of someone with bloody hands in a submerging van, she realized that Isabella was not meant to die in the pile-up.
After Eugene and Clear were incinerated in an oxygen explosion (which also nearly killed both Thomas and Kimberly by sending a trolley towards them), Kimberly decided to sacrifice herself for Thomas' sake by driving an ambulance into a lake. Luckily, Thomas managed to rescue her and she was resuscitated by Dr. Kalarjian, thus granting her "new life". Sometime later, she and Thomas went to a picnic with the Gibbons family, who told them that if it wasn't for Rory, their son Brian would be dead. To everyone's surprise, Brian would be killed by a barbecue grill explosion moments later.

While Kimberly survives the events of Final Destination 2, the "Thrill Ride" DVD release of Final Destination 3 included a special feature called Choose Their Fate, which included a scene of Kimberly dying in an incident set five years after her prophecized death. In said incident, Kimberly went to a hardware store to ask for directions, where she encountered Burke. As they greeted each other, an unmanned vehicle began to drive down the road until it crashed into the store, nearly killing Kimberly and Burke. They rushed outside the back door at the last minute only to come into contact with a wood chipper, Kimberly got her coat caught inside the machine and was slowly sucked in. Burke tried to save Kimberly, but in the process, he got caught in the machine as well.
