Nanaue, also known as King Shark, is a minor character in Justice League Dark: Apokolips War. Based on the character in DC Comics, he is a metahuman with the body of an anthropomorphic shark. He lived a life of crime before being pressed into the Suicide Squad. During the Apokoliptian occupation of Earth, he continues to work with the Squad under the leadership of Harley Quinn. He is voiced by John DiMaggio.
Biography[]
After being beaten by Lois Lane in a boxing match, Harley Quinn agrees that the Suicide Squad will help the resistance in taking back the Earth from Darkseid's forces. The Squad later raids LexCorp Tower where they find that Lex Luthor has been acting as a double agent throughout the occupation. Now with no other option but to help the resistance openly, Luthor provides the Suicide Squad with kryptonite-based weapons so that they can protect the tower from Darkseid's Paradooms. King Shark has his fangs plated with kryptonite so that he can tear through Paradoom flesh.
Death[]
As Paradooms storm LexCorp Tower, the Suicide Squad protect Lois as she activates the self-destruct system inside the portal chamber. She sends one last message to Superman before the self-destruct activates, blowing up the upper half of the tower and killing everyone within, including King Shark.
