Kobra is a minor character in the animated film Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind. Based on the character from the Mortal Kombat games, he is a violent, psychotic thug who runs with the Black Dragon under the vicious Kano. He is voiced by Yuri Lowenthal.
History[]
Since Earthrealm was decimated by a revenant invasion, Kobra has been running with Kano and the Black Dragon, conquering surviving communities and slaughtering anyone who has dared to resist. Not long after bringing another village to heel, Kabal, Kira and Kobra come across an old man in the desert with piles of fresh fruit and vegetables on his cart. He asks where the stranger is headed, but the old man does not answer. Kabal then beats the man and lets Kira and Kobra take what they want from the cart before leaving. Kabal decides to leave the stranger alive so that he will lead them to wherever he was taking his produce.
Later, Kabal, Kira and Kobra arrive at a village hidden between the dunes. When they start harassing one of the villagers, a young warrior named Kenshi Takahashi approaches and picks a fight with them. After being humiliated by Kenshi, Kabal and his cronies leave, but promise to return. They later arrive at K-Town to inform Kano of their discovery. Kano is intrigued and sends the trio back to the hidden village, sending the terramancer Tremor along with them.
The next day, Kabal, Kira, Kobra and Tremor arrive in the village where they meet Kenshi once more. They also meet the old man who they had previously roughed up and demand that both of them kneel. Kuai Liang does so, but Kenshi remains defiant and picks a fight with Tremor, only to get thoroughly beaten. Tremor almost kills Kenshi, but Shang Tsung watches from a distance and signals Tremor, urging him not to harm the young man any further. The Black Dragons leave once more, but warn that they will return to claim the village for themselves.
Death[]
After consuming the souls from within the Well of Souls, Shang Tsung is revitalized and returns to K-Town to exact his revenge on Kano. After entering Kano's fortress, he attacks the Black Dragon leader with a series of magical fireballs, killing multiple thugs while Kano manages to evade the blasts. Kobra charges at Shang Tsung, but the sorcerer casts a fireball that blasts a gaping hole through the punk's torso, killing him.
