Laura (portrayed by Lindsley Register) is a minor supporting character in the survival-horror series The Walking Dead. Appearing between Seasons 7 and 10, she was introduced as a member of the Saviors, a violent gang of survivors that used violence and intimidation to subjugate other apocalypse survivors.
While Laura appeared to be fiercely loyal to Negan and the Savior way of life, this proved to not be entirely the case following the war between the Saviors and the Militia. Following Negan's defeat, Laura was quick to accept the terms of her group's surrender and seemed to have an easier time adjusting to life under Rick Grime's law. In the six years after Rick's assumed death, she would even take on a leadership role as a member of Alexandria's ruling council, proof that she had indeed reformed following her violent past.
Death[]
In the Season 10 episode "Stalker", Alexandria was infiltrated by the violent survivor group known as the Whisperers. After killing a number of residents and letting them reanimate to divert the attention of the town's defenders, Beta made his way to the holding cell where defecting Whisperer Mary was being held. Mary refused to go with him and Laura arrived to help her escape. After telling Mary to run away, Laura attacked Beta by jumping on him. Beta pulled Laura off of himself and beat her head against the cell bars before slamming her to the floor, breaking her neck on impact.
