Lois Lane has appeared prominently in The Death of Superman, Reign of the Supermen, Batman: Hush and Justice League Dark: Apokolips War. She has been voiced by Rebecca Romijn in each of these films.
During The Death of Superman, Lois and Clark had started dating following Clark's breakup with Diana Prince. Feeling the need to be completely honest with Lois, Clark finally confessed to her that he was Superman, although Lois had already figured out his dual identity herself by then. On that same day, the monster known as Doomsday attacked Metropolis, leaving a path of death and destruction in its wake. Superman joined the Justice League in battling the monster while Lois and Jimmy Olsen reported on the battle via a live broadcast.
The battle was dragged out for some time as Doomsday proved to be all but invincible, and so strong that it was able to beat Superman to near death. As Doomsday was about to go for a killing blow, Lois intervened and threw a rock at the monster to get its attention. Doomsday lumbered towards Lois and she called out to Superman, knowing that he would never stand by and let her come to harm. As Lois had hoped, Superman got back up and poured the last of his strength into one final attack, launching himself at Doomsday like a bullet and twisting the monster's neck, killing it at last. Superman then collapsed in Lois' arms and died, leaving her and all of Metropolis to weep for their fallen hero.
In Reign of the Supermen, six months after Superman's apparent death, crime in Metropolis skyrocketed as criminals and villains took advantage of the Man of Steel's absence. However, four superpowered individuals, each seemingly modeled after Superman, had stepped up to take his place. One of these individuals, the Cyborg Superman, claimed to be the real Superman returned from the dead. After meeting with him in private one night, Lois determined that the Cyborg was not Clark. She would later learn that his real identity was Hank Henshaw, an astronaut who was supposedly killed when the asteroid that carried Doomsday to Earth collided with his shuttle.
When Henshaw and his new Cyber Corps attempted to open a portal to allow the armies of Apokolips to invade Earth, Lois confronted him aboard the Watchtower. Henshaw took Lois prisoner, but before he could do anything else, an alert sounded. On the viewscreen, Henshaw saw that Superboy, Steel, and a Kryptonian rocket carrying the revived Superman were heading towards the launch site. Enraged, Henshaw declared that he would destroy Superman, but Darkseid ordered him to stick to the plan. Henshaw resisted Darkseid's brainwashing, ripping out the Mother Box in his torso and the control device in his brain. With the Cyber Corps under his control, Henshaw closed the portal and ordered the cyborg army to attack Metropolis.
The real Superman's rocket crashed into the Watchtower, but Clark's powers hadn't yet been fully restored. Henshaw attacked Clark as the Watchtower launched into space, but Clark held him off and freed Lois, who accessed the satellite's controls and activated the emergency bulkheads, sealing the hull breach made by Clark's rocket. Clark used a laser rifle in his battle with Henshaw, carving off one of his arms, but the nano-machinery in his body reconstructed it. While Henshaw was distracted with Superman, Lois opened the Watchtower's sun shields, allowing solar rays to flood in and re-energize Superman, granting him the power he needed to destroy his cyborg doppelganger.
At some point following Clark's return, he and Lois got married. However, their married life would prove to be short. In Justice League Dark: Apokolips War, Superman would lead the Justice League in a preemptive attack against Apokolips. Unfortunately, Darkseid was able to spy on the League through Cyborg and was prepared for their arrival, ambushing the League with an army of Paradooms. Some of the heroes were killed while others were captured and converted into cybernetic Furies. Superman, on the other hand, was injected with liquid kryptonite that left him de-powered and was sent back to Earth as a living reminder to the population that no-one was going to save them. When the invasion came, Superman could do nothing but watch helplessly as Darkseid's armies razed whole cities and slaughtered countless innocents.
Two years following the invasion, Lois had become the leader of a resistance movement against Darkseid's occupation. She had recruited the few surviving members of the Justice League and Teen Titans, sending Superman and Raven to find and recruit John Constantine and Etrigan. They would later travel to Stryker's Island where Lois had gone to try and recruit the Suicide Squad. To gain the Squad's support, she had to beat Harley Quinn in a boxing match. Despite Harley using electrified gauntlets, Lois won the match and Harley agreed to support the resistance.
Later, Lois revealed her plan of using the remaining heroes as decoys to attack Darkseid's Planet Reapers that were siphoning the Earth's molten core. This would draw the Paradooms away from Apokolips, so the main force could invade and destroy it by compromising the planet's power source. According to her anonymous source, she was aware that Darkseid would be off-world and had planned in accordance to that. While the group raided LexCorp to make their way to the Boom Tube, they came across Lex Luthor himself, who tried to stop them but was easily beaten by Raven. Luthor revealed that he was the anonymous source that reported to Lois, and he joined their side after Batman, brainwashed by Darkseid to become his right-hand man, caught on to his betrayal.
With the Boom Tube ready for transport, the main force consisting of Constantine, Superman, Raven, Damian and Etrigan, headed to Apokolips while Lois, Luthor and the Suicide Squad stayed behind to prevent the Paradooms from returning to Apokolips. Before departing, Superman exchanged a temporary goodbye with Lois. In order to combat the Paradooms, Luthor handed her a laser gun with Kryptonite-infused ammunition.
Later, the group was cornered by the large horde of Paradooms, and Luthor erected a Kryptonite barrier to buy time as he set the self-destruct sequence for LexCorp as a final stand. With time running out, Lois tried to contact Superman through the battle suit given to him by Luthor, but at this point Superman was possessed by Trigon and was doing battle with Darkseid. Batman, free from his programming, answered the message in Superman's place, asking Cyborg to put her on through the pieces of the suit Superman is still wearing. Despite Trigon being in control of his body, Superman listened in on Lois' message, which turned out to be her last as the self-destruct clock was ticking. Lois told Superman she loved him as she died in the explosion. Lois' death caused Superman to kick Trigon out and regain control of his body, which restored his powers as Trigon had removed the liquid kryptonite in his body that was rendering him powerless before.
