Lucas Stevens (portrayed by Frankie Muniz) is a supporting character in Sharknado 3. He is the boyfriend/bodyguard of Nova Clarke, Fin Shepard's former waitress at his seaside restaurant in Los Angeles prior to the first sharknado incident.
Lucas joins Nova as a fellow sharknado hunter, designing and building several of the tools and weapons the duo use. He also built their custom van "The Beast".
Lucas and Nova rescue Fin from a "fognado" and travel with him to Charleston Air Base so that Fin can discuss a strategy for dealing with the shark storms battering the east coast with the general. After learning that Orlando has been hit by a sharknado, Fin demands to take the base's training plane to Orlando in order to find his family.
Death[]
As a sharknado tears through the air base, Lucas decides to use an explosive charge aboard the Beast in order to neutralise the sharknado so that Fin and Nova can escape. As he climbs on top of the van, a shark falls upon him and bites off his leg. Lucas manages to keep going, but more sharks fall upon him the closer he gets to the van's self-destruct button, biting off one of his limbs each time. Completely amputated, Lucas struggles in agony to reach the button, squirming with what little strength he has left. He finally reaches the button and pushes it with his chin, blowing himself up while neutralising the sharknado.
Time Reversal[]
In The Last Sharknado: It's About Time, Fin travels back in time and prevents the sharknado phenomenon from ever occurring. This cancels out every death in the series, including Lucas'.
