Madame Gasket is one of the main antagonists of the Dreamworks animated film Robots.
History[]
Madame Gasket is first seen in her chop shop checking out the melted scrap. After seeing some of it, she calls a break time but ends it after a few seconds. After laughing to herself, she sees Ratchet, her son come by and welcomes him. He soon tells her that he did his task of removing spare parts and only supplying upgrades. She soon also hears that all broken down robots will be scrap and this delights her. She soon fills him in that they also plan on destroying Bigweld. After her confused son asks to repeat it, she calls him idiot and says he could return. Soon she tells Ratchet to grow some bolts or he could end up like his father when he says he should be no problem. When she says the city and company could be renamed to his name, Ratchet is thrilled and they dance until he is reminded he has to go.
Later on, she interrupts her son's massage which surprises him. She tells him she crawled through his vents as she knows he doesn't want people to see her. When he asks what's up, She tells him that somebody is fixing outmodes and that everyone is laughing at him. Soon she tells him to use his stolen brains and says that if this is the case, no one will need upgrades and they can fix themselves thus putting ratchet out of business. She soon tells him to crush whoever is doing it and before she leaves she gives her son a gift.
She returns after Fender is captured and he evades her minions. She is soon amazed when she sees the super sweepers. This makes her proud and she believes she could not have asked for a better son. She soon finds out from Ratchet that he knows who is fixing outmodes. After Fender attempts to escape, they try to capture him but he flees, only to almost fall into a chopping machine. She soon makes a phone call to her son with him saying he has everything under control.
After Bigweld is captured, he tells her she is evil, which flatters her. When she tries to have Bigweld melted down, Rodney and company save the day. This causes her to greet them and realize he was responsible for her plans being derailed. When she asks who the others are, Fender calls her sir, to which she says she's a woman. When the gang claim she is outnumbered, she summons her minions. Soon she leaves them to the mercy of her henchmen. However, the grateful citizens of the city have arrived to back Rodney and company up.
Death[]
During the battle, Gasket tries to grab Rodney but he flies past her via Wonderbot. She soon begins to release Bigweld to his death only for Rodney to save him. Soon she sees Wonderbot and they get into a sword fight with pipes. Soon she gains the upper hand and knocks his pipe away. However, he refuses to concede and wrestles the pipe out of her hand and swings her around. Soon her son grabs onto her and she demands to know what he's doing. As the two of them swing, she tells him to get off her. This turns out to be her undoing and she flies into her furnace where she is melted.
