Mee Deechi was a minor character from Season 2 of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Appearing in the episode "Senate Murders", he was an Umbaran diplomat who represented his homeworld in the Galactic Senate. He was a strong proponent of the Republic's continued production of clones in order to defeat the Confederacy of Independent Systems, making him a political enemy of Padme Amidala and other anti-war senators. He was voiced by Gideon Emery.
Death[]
Following a Senate hearing regarding the Republic's military spending, anti-war advocate Onaconda Farr was assassinated. Deechi was suspected of being involved in the assassination, but denied the allegation and claimed that he held great respect for the Rodian senator despite their political differences. Deechi revealed that he nonetheless had Farr secretly followed and told Senators Amidala and Organa about the Rodian's meeting on the docks. Amidala and Organa left to investigate the lead, though they did not give up their suspicions about Deechi.
The next time Amidala went to meet with Deechi, she was certain that the Umbaran had attempted to kill her while she was investigating the docks. However, when she entered Deechi's office, she found him dead with a knife in his chest. It would later be discovered that Lolo Purs, Farr's aide, had been responsible for both Farr's and Deechi's murders.
