Michelle Dixon was a supporting character in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. She was the wife of Charley Dixon, a paramedic who had once been involved with Sarah Connor. She was portrayed by Sonya Walger.
History[]
In June 1999, Sarah Connor and her son John disappeared after travelling forward through time along with the reprogrammed Terminator Cameron. Sarah left behind a fiance, Charlie Dixon, who believed Sarah had died in a bank explosion. During the eight years between Sarah's disappearance and reappearance, Charlie met and married Michelle.
In early 2008, FBI agent James Ellison contacted Charlie and informed him that Sarah was still alive. Michelle knew about Charlie's previous relationship with Sarah and believed him when he told her that he wasn't still in love with her, but also knew that Charlie was holding something back.
Several months later, Ellison contacted Charlie again, informing him and Michelle that he had been made aware of the existence of machines from the future that had been hunting Sarah's son. Charlie had, by that time, witnessed a Terminator first-hand and told his wife. While certainly shocked by this revelation, Michelle did believe it. Ellison warned the Dixons to leave Los Angeles as their association with the Connors could put them in danger.
Death[]
In the Season 2 episode "The Mousetrap", the Dixons are stopped at a way station out in the Mojave desert when Michelle is abducted by the Terminator Cromartie. Cromartie takes Michelle to an abandoned building where he ties her to a chair rigged with mousetraps and a bomb. His plan is to use Michelle as bait to lure Sarah Connor away, leaving John vulnerable to attack.
Sarah, Charlie and Derek Reese later arrive to save Michelle, but it turns out that the bomb beneath Michelle's chair was a fake. However, Cromartie left behind a cellphone and a listening device wired to a nearby cell tower. After Cromartie had copied Sarah's voice and learned of hers and John's secret phone code, he set off to LA while triggering the explosive set to the tower. The tower collapsed upon the building, and while everyone inside survived the blast and the tower collapse, Michelle was wounded after a piece of shrapnel cut into her back. Since Cromartie had taken Charlie's car and destroyed Sarah's, the group were left stranded without aid. Though they did hijack a van in order to return to the city, Michelle didn't survive the trip as the shrapnel had severed an artery, causing her to bleed out before she could be taken to a hospital.
