Mike Reynolds (portrayed by Nick Mennell) was a minor character in the 2009 reboot of Friday the 13th. He was one of five college students who visited Crystal Lake in search of a patch of wild marijuana said to be growing in the forest. He is Jason Voorhees' third victim in the film.
After the group get lost and decide to make camp, Wade tells the others the story about Camp Crystal Lake and the Voorhees murders. Later on, after Wade goes looking for the marijuana on his own, Mike and his girlfriend Whitney decide to investigate the woods. As they wander amongst the trees, they come upon a clearing where a small, dilapidated house stands. The pair decide to investigate, unaware that the house is home to Jason, the son of the murderous Pamela Voorhees from Wade's story.
Inside the house, Mike and Whitney discover evidence of who once lived there. They also discover what appears to be a shrine of sorts built into a hole in the wall. Mike takes a look inside, picking up what he first thinks to be a doll. After bringing it into the light, however, he is horrified to find that the "doll" is actually the rotten, decapitated head of Pamela Voorhees. Then, the door behind them suddenly slams and Mike and Whitney realize that they are not alone.
Mike calls out to the unseen stalker, but no one replies. Suddenly, a blade spontaneously erupts from the floorboards. Mike and Whitney try to run, but the blade is thrust through the floor again and again, stabbing through Mike's foot and then through his hand after he falls down. Jason then smashes through the floorboards and grabs the wounded Mike, who screams at Whitney to run away before he is dragged down and out of sight.
After being held captive for six weeks by her boyfriend's murderer, Whitney attempts to escape. As she tries to find her way out of Jason's lair, she finds Mike's decomposed body in a small chamber.
