Monica (played by Kim Poirier) is a minor character in the 2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead. Little is known about her character other than she was a survivor of the zombie apocalypse who was rescued from Fort Pastor by Norma.
After arriving at the Crossroads Shopping Mall, Monica befriends the other survivors, most notably Steve Marcus. She appears to be somewhat flirtatious and has a taste for the finer things, trying on a number of expensive outfits while sheltering in the mall and drinking and having sex with Steve.

When the survivors flee from the mall aboard a pair of modified buses, they struggle to push through the veritable sea of zombies on the road. While they manage to break through the larger horde, one zombie clings to the side of the bus and Kenneth tries to scrape it off at the curve. As he does this, Glen stumbles while brandishing a running chainsaw, falling into Monica and killing her as well as himself.
