Norma (portrayed by Jayne Eastwood) is a supporting character in Zack Snyder's Dawn of the Dead. A former delivery truck driver, Norma used her truck to rescue a small group of apocalypse survivors from Fort Pastor. She brought them to the Crossroads Shopping Mall where they met with Ana Clark's group of survivors who allowed them inside.
Norma was a generous, kind-hearted woman, as she demonstrated by rescuing a group of complete strangers from Fort Pastor when it was overrun by zombies. During her time at the mall, she offered to help Andre and Luda as they prepared for the birth of Luda's baby.
Death[]
A few days into the group's isolation, Norma goes to check on Luda who is due to give birth soon. She enters the back room of the Carousel store to find that Luda has had her baby, but died during the birth and turned into a zombie. Luda is tied to her bed while a delusional Andre cradles his undead child. Fearing for the rest of the group, Norma draws her gun to put down Luda, but Andre draws his own gun at her. Norma takes her chances and shoots Luda before turning to shoot Andre too, but Andre shoots her as well and they die together.
