Syzoth, also known as Reptile, is a minor character in the 2021 movie Mortal Kombat. A vicious reptilian monster from the realm of Outworld, he was sent by Shang Tsung to Earthrealm to assassinate Cole Young before the final Mortal Kombat tournament.

Reptile was sent by Shang Tsung to hunt down Earthrealm champions that bore the dragon mark on their bodies before the Mortal Kombat tournament officially began, to eliminate competition so that Outworld could conquer Earthrealm faster. Arriving at Sonya Blade's base of operations, Reptile use his acidic spit to melt through the steel wall and crawled in under the cover of his chameleon-like invisibility. He attacked Kano, Sonya, and Cole, though Sonya shot at him several times, only to miss. Listening for the creature's snarls and footfalls, Sonya then threw a pair of knives in Reptile's direction and struck him.
Leaping out of sight, Reptile used his tongue to pull the knife from his shoulder, his corrosive saliva melting it down. He then turned invisible again and attacked Sonya, Kano, and Cole once more. The trio tried to fight back, but they couldn't see where their foe was. Cole lit a flare and tossed it to Kano, who used it to locate Reptile. The creature used his tongue on Kano to grab him, but Sonya threw another knife into Reptile's chest and Kano punched through the chest wound. He then grabbed a hold of Reptile's still-beating heart and ripped it out of the monster's body, who then fell to the floor in a bloody heap.
